Kumaraguru Doctoral Fellowship - KDF (Full time & Residential) invites aspirational and meritorious candidates to pursue their research degree in the field of engineering, acquire the requisite skills and deepen the competency in the interdisciplinary research.

Objectives :
  • To promote a sustainable research environment in the thrust areas.
  • To inculcate interdisciplinary research among the Departments, across the KI Institutions.
  • To provide solutions to scientific and technological issues, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the society.
Intake, Eligibility and Duration :
Eligibility
Mandatory :

Freshers / Candidates with up to 3 years of experience with :

  • Master's degree in Engineering / Technology/ Management
  • Individuals working in Research Areas / Laboratories in Government / Industry are eligible to apply
  • Candidates with MSc Mathematics /Statistics / Physics / Chemistry or Masters in Management Domains are eligible to apply
Desirable :

Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates

Duration :
  • Fellowship will be awarded for a period of 3 years to complete the research.
  • Continuous reviews and assessments will determine the conclusion of the fellowship.
  • Fellowship will be withdrawn in the event of not attaining the research goals.
